The solo competitors racing in the 2-day event will also be competing in the following top-level categories. The winners will become the "Australian Multi-sport Champion" for this year.

All team members must meet the age criteria to be eligible for the team's category.
For example, if ALL the team members are 40 years old or more, then your team will be in the Veterans category. Otherwise, your team will be competing in the Open category.
Another example is that if ALL your team members are 14-17 years old, your team will be in the Junior category. Otherwise, your team will be competing in the Open category.
To be eligible for a place (1st, 2nd or 3rd) in a mixed category, the team must have an equal number of males and females and each gender must complete an equal number of stages. If placings aren’t your thing, then you can configure your mixed team as you choose.
